What type of paper do we use in our wall art prints?

We print on Museum-Quality Archival Matte Paper. This smooth, neutral-white matte paper is ideal for fine art, photo reproduction, and decor prints. It offers accurate color reproduction, high contrast, and sharp detail. With a weight of 230 GSM and a thickness of 9.5 mil, it has a durable feel. The instant-dry coating resists fingerprints and smudging. This acid-free paper is compatible with all aqueous inkjet printers, whether using dye or pigment inks.

Which type of printing technology do we use?

We use the Giclée printing method (pronounced zhee-clay), which is the Gold Standard for museums and art galleries worldwide. Unlike standard posters that are mass-produced with cheap dye-based inks, our Giclée prints use 12-color archival pigment inks. This advanced technology captures every subtle gradient and detail of the original artwork. The result is a print with deep, vibrant colors that are guaranteed not to fade or yellow for 100+ years. What are your Art Framing options?

We offer two premium framing styles to complement your decor. Our Solid Oak Wood Frames feature a warm, minimalist profile (0.55″ wide) available in Natural, Walnut, White, and Black. For a sleeker modern look, our Aluminum Metal Frames offer a sturdy profile (0.71″ wide) in Silver, Gold, White, and Black.

You can choose between Standard glazing (shatter-resistant plexiglass) or Premium (real glass), both 1-2mm thick. Crucially. All frames also include a removable white mat for versatile styling.
Our frames are designed for easy use with Turnbuttons for quick artwork updates and pre-installed Sawtooth Hangers for vertical or horizontal display. We also include an Easel Back for tabletop display on the following small sizes: 4×6, 5×7, 6×8, 8×8, and 8×10.

Why are your prints more expensive than standard posters?

We don’t sell standard mass-produced posters. Every piece at Shpapyrus is a Fine Art Giclée Print. We use 12-color archival pigment inks on thick, museum-grade matte paper (230gsm). This means your art will have deep, rich colors and is guaranteed not to fade for over 100 years. Standard posters often use 4-color ink on thin paper that fades quickly

Does "Unframed" mean it comes rolled?

Yes. If you select “Unframed,” you will receive the art print rolled carefully in a protective, hard-shell tube. It will be ready for you to frame locally. If you select “Framed,” it arrives ready to hang on your wall immediately.

How long will it take to get my order?

Since every piece is custom printed just for you, we need 2–4 business days to create and inspect your print. Once shipped, delivery within the USA typically takes 3–5 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as it leaves our studio.

My package arrived damaged! What do I do?

Don’t panic! While we pack everything securely, accidents happen during transit. Please take a photo of the damaged package and print, and email it to us at [email protected] within 48 hours. We will send you a free replacement immediately. No need to ship the damaged one back.

What is your return policy?

Because every item is made-to-order specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for “change of mind” or wrong size selection. However, if your print is defective, blurry, or damaged in transit, we will always replace it for free. Please check your wall measurements carefully before ordering!

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes. We are committed to sustainability. Our prints are made to order (which reduces waste), and we use recyclable packaging materials wherever possible.
